Some TET (Trans Euro Trail)
DC-3:an Munin - Karlsborg
Our journey was more than just miles on an odometer; it was an odyssey through the heart of the Swedish wilderness. It began with the rhythmic crunch of gravel beneath our tires as we diverted onto the TET past Sandhem, where the dust in the rearview mirror became a symbol of the freedom ahead.
At Karlsborg Fortress, we felt the breath of history against the massive stone walls, before allowing ourselves to be swallowed by the deep, enchanted forests of Tiveden. It was here, among the endless gravel roads winding between moss-covered boulders, that we found the true soul of the ride. After a well-earned rest in the picturesque town of Askersund, we continued our southward push.
Hästholmen offered a glass-like view over the clear waters of Lake Vättern, but it was Omberg’s steep cliffs and epic vistas that provided the final crowning touch to our loop. We returned home with dirty machines but lighter souls—grateful for every curve, every climb, and every mile around this magnificent lake.
